    Lee Greathouse

    CEO

    Our founder and CEO, Lee has built the company from one person to more than 75—on two separate occasions! He set the tone for us by creating and implementing our mission and vision. Today, he manages the overall operations and resources of the company, and leads the way as we develop our short- and long-term strategy. Lee is a NALP-certified Landscape Professional and holds a B.S. in Agriculture (Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Design) from the University of Tennessee. Always looking forward, Lee loves being an early adopter of the latest tech tools and devices.

    Will Greathouse

    President

    As our president, Will loves the responsibility and opportunity to guide our team. He feels lucky to work with this group and is passionate about our past, present, and future. He has worked in the industry for 15 years and counting and holds a B.S. in business administration from the University of Tennessee. Will married his high school sweetheart more than 11 years ago, and they have four kids that keep their lives, hearts, and schedules full.

    Nick helps our development team succeed by creating goals for business growth, implementing new marketing initiatives, and identifying new prospects. He’s a natural when it comes to building relationships and loves helping our clients realize the vision they have for their properties. A man of many skills, Nick stays active as an avid outdoorsman, a Jiu Jitsu black belt, and a nationally licensed soccer coach. He’s proudly married to his best friend for 15 years and counting!

    As Director of Strategy & Operations, Dustin cherishes the opportunity to lead a dynamic team towards excellence. Deeply invested in the company's journey, Dustin takes pride in the successes of the past, the innovations of the present, and the bright prospects of the future. With almost two decades in the landscape and lawn care industry, Dustin has consistently spearheaded initiatives that have led to significant growth and transformative change. Away from the hustle of the professional world, Dustin is grounded by his beautiful wife and two children and finds solace in playing golf with friends and attending Tennessee Vols football games.

    Canaan Blair

    Project Department Manager

    Canaan oversees our commercial installation department, building trusted, lasting relationships with our clients. His problem-solving skills keep us running smoothly as he coordinates with sub-contractors, foremen, and technicians. Before coming to The Greathouse Company, he built, owned, operated, and sold his own business. A Nashville native, he loves hunting and other outdoor activities, and spending quality time with his amazing wife and kids.

    Maintenance Department Manager

    As our Maintenance Department Manager, Adam loves the relational focus of his role at The Greathouse Company—whether that’s dreaming up solutions with clients or collaborating with our crews to make those dreams a reality—as well as getting to see our clients’ properties transform over time. He also enjoys watching his colleagues succeed and grow in their roles. In his free time, you can find Adam playing sports to stay active—in college he played basketball and made the all-freshman team in cross country.

  • Joshua Buskirk

    Residential Project Manager

    Joshua Buskirk

    Residential Project Manager

    Joshua Buskirk has worked in the Irrigation/Landscape industry for over 30 years. Before working at Greathouse, he worked at Frank and Grossman Landscape in San Francisco. Josh refined his skills of Masonry, Irrigation. Carpentry, and was fortunate to work on multi-Million-dollar estates from Napa to Big Sur. Determined to excel at his craft and career, he spent 15 years running multiple million-dollar residential estate projects, including the largest residential Landscape in California. At the time, they were averaging 60 plus men for three years, turning a 10-acre horse property to a work of art mirroring Butchart Gardens. As a part of the Greathouse team, he provides superior customer experience and professionalism.

    Doug has worked in the Landscape Residential Industry for 10 years. While he grew up in Nebraska, Greathouse is happy to have him here in Tennessee. We are proud that he has moved up in the company, starting off as a laborer and moving up to the supervisor’s position through hard work and determination. Doug helps to keep the crews on track and focused on the task they are given.

    Commercial Project Manager

    Keith has worked in landscaping for more than 10 years, making sure each of our commercial projects is completed safely and on time while producing outstanding results. He makes it a priority to keep the lines of communication open with our clients throughout each project. Keith is a graduate of Nashville Academy, with several professional certifications as well. Outside of work, Keith loves spending time with his family outdoors. You can find them fishing, camping, or riding ATVs!

    Maintenance Operations Manager

    Juan oversees all our maintenance work, showing up bright and early every morning to make sure each crew is equipped for the day’s tasks. He’s committed to providing excellent results for our clients and regularly visits each maintenance site to ensure that the work is done to the highest quality. Juan is a graduate of Nashville’s own Pearl-Cohn comprehensive magnet high school, where he was once honored as student of the month. Here at The Greathouse Company, he has worked his way up from being a general technician to maintenance supervisor.

    As an account manager, Roger uses his organizational and planning skills to make sure we meet and exceed our clients’ expectations. With more than 22 years of experience in the industry, we lean on his expertise as a leader in a young department. Roger holds a degree in business management from Purdue and a certification in plant disease and insect control from the College of DuPage in Illinois. When he’s not at work, he loves to travel with his wife and fix up antique cars.

    The way I got into landscaping was through my father, who ran his own landscaping company out of North Alabama. While in college at the University of North Alabama, I worked for a family at their property doing landscape work. That’s where I found a love for landscaping. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in professional management in 2018. I am a person that enjoys the simple things in life such as hanging out with friends and family and going to sporting events. My pride and joy is a 4 year old chocolate lab named "Doc".

    Bob creates a vision for our clients’ outdoor spaces and communicates it through beautiful and accurate design renderings. We lean on his expertise throughout our projects, from initial meetings to project completion and beyond as he consults with clients, salespeople, project managers, account managers, and crew. He’s been in the industry for more than 25 years and holds a B.S. in plant and soil science from MTSU. Outside of work, you’ll find him enjoying time outdoors, traveling with family, or reading pioneering naturalist and conservationist John Muir.

    Sam Champion

    Designer

    Sam brings along thirty years of Landscape Design, Construction, and Management expertise to The Greathouse Company's design team. Through his experience and expertise in Agronomy, Horticulture, and Landscape Architecture, he orchestrates creative solutions for our clients. Using a pragmatic approach to design solutions, his work often responds to natural site constraints and existing architecture and is informed by the extended family unit and larger neighborhood context. In the past, Sam has also worked with several different municipalities and is well-versed in local ordinances and code requirements. He is a proud graduate of Auburn University, as well as a former member of The Nashville Historic Zoning Commission and The Nashville Downtown Code Design Review Committee.

    Ryan Hollingsworth

    Maintenance Relationship Manager

    Ryan has been active in the landscape industry for 15 years and most recently has been involved in commercial and residential project management. In 2004, he utilized his G.I Bill to enroll at the University of Arkansas to study Landscape Architecture and Horticulture, where his passion for the industry began. Ryan is strongly committed to eco-friendly solutions that preserve natural surroundings. He is educated and trained in landscape design with hands-on experience in estimating, designing, budgeting, maintaining, and implementing both residential and commercial landscape solutions. He enjoys working with others that are excited about landscaping and enjoys the opportunity to share his passion. When Ryan is not in the office you can still find him involved in the outdoors either kayaking, camping, backpacking, or traveling.

    Donna is an industry veteran, having worked in landscaping for more than 35 years. Here at The Greathouse Company, she purchases all our plant materials, keeps track of our inventory, coordinates with the nursery manager on plant care and crew needs, and helps us think through pricing for all our projects. When she’s not on the clock, you’re more than likely to find her enjoying the great outdoors!

  • Ryan Sheehan

    Procurement & Inventory Manager

    Ryan Sheehan

    Procurement & Inventory Manager

    As procurement and inventory manager, Ryan cares for all the plants we have on-site, while also facilitating proper care and planting after they leave our holding yard. He helps us evaluate clients’ properties to find the best solutions for their needs and tracks down the right plant material for each job. Ryan is a graduate of the Institute of Tree Sciences, is an ISA Certified Arborist, and holds a plant and soil science degree from MTSU. He’s also the proud owner of a 5-acre hobby farm where he is actively working to reforest the property and restore native grasslands.

    As business systems manager, Shelly keeps everything running smoothly here at The Greathouse Company. She wears a lot of different hats for us, functioning as our accounting manager, HR manager, and office manager. She has more than 14 years of accounting experience.

    As accounts payable coordinator, Christie makes sure everyone gets paid! She monitors all our accounts payable invoices, manages payroll and coding expenses and reconciles our credit card accounts.

    As our Accounting and HR Assistant, Reneé loves that every day brings new challenges and responsibilities. Renee moved to Tennessee in 2019 and brought her love for the Philadelphia Phillies with her. She loves spending her free time with her fiancé CJ and their three rescue pups.
